Invasion at the Border

I’ve been saying for the last couple of years that America is finished, that this once great nation is now under God’s divine judgement and what I’m seeing now along the Texas border and the turmoil around the country confirms my belief.  America will never again be what it once was.  We will never again be a superpower on the world stage.  Judgment has officially begun.

For years now I’ve been able to see parallels between modern America and ancient Israel and now, modern America is a mirror image of that rebellious nation. And as I read Isaiah chapter 1, all I can see is this nation and the looming judgement.  I see the fall  and doom that awaits our country because of our outrageous and willful wickedness and rebellion against God.

America has always been the most blessed and prosperous nation on earth and because we have chosen to turn our backs on God who has blessed us so much, we are being destroyed from the inside.  We may not have armies invading our shores, but make no mistake, we are being invaded by foreign nations.  What’s happening along the southern border is an invasion and it’s being perpetrated by our own federal government that is actively refusing to enforce the law.  This is just a fact.

Your country is desolate, Your cities are burned with fire; Strangers devour your land in your presence; And it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. Isaiah 1:7

Folks, we are on the cusp of a civil war the likes that has never been seen in this country.  Texas is being forced to defend itself and now, 25 states have sided with Texas against the federal government.  If you don’t want to do the math, that’s literally half of the country.  Half of this country is now actively standing against the federal government.  Many of these states are sending their own national guard troops to Texas to guard the border, including Florida that has its own immigration problems.

John Calvin once said that when “God wants to judge a nation, He gives them wicked rulers,” and we have the most evil and depraved ruler that we have ever had in our entire history.  Never in this nation’s history have we ever had a president that was actively working to destroy the country.  We have had some awful and immoral presidents before but Biden and his administration is the worst by far. I’m not trying to be political, I’m just reading the writing on the wall. We can blame Biden and Obama, and the rest of the federal government all we want, but the simple fact is, this judgment is ordained by God and we absolutely deserve it.

“Alas, sinful nation, A people laden with iniquity, brood of evildoers, Children who are corrupters! They have forsaken the Lord, They have provoked to anger The Holy One of Israel, They have turned away backward. Why should you be stricken again? You will revolt more and more. The whole head is sick,

And the whole heart faints. From the sole of the foot even to the head, There is no soundness in it, But wounds and bruises and putrefying sores; They have not been closed or bound up, Or soothed with ointment.” Isaiah 1:4-6

I honestly believe that God has given this nation all the warning and all the punishment that He’s going to.  It’s now time for judgement.

Folks, now is the time to make sure you’re ready for what’s coming.  It’s time to make sure that you’re right with Jesus.  You do not want to be left behind to face the hell that’s going to rain down on this nation and the entire planet.

Are you prepared?

A Snake a Woman, and Some Forbidden Fruit

“Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Mathew 26:41 I took a group of 3rd graders on a field trip to a working farm last fall. It was a huge farm with goats, cows, chickens and even a couple of lazy pigs that spent the entire day lying in the mud. One other feature of this farm that you don’t see much of North Carolina was a pretty good sized vineyard. We all love grapes right? This was in early September so the grapes were ready to harvest and people were already busy picking them. After the days guided activities were over we had some free time to roam around. The owner of the farm told us that we could go anywhere on the farm we wanted, but to please stay out of the vineyard. The reason was that the grapes were being harvested for a local winery and they needed all of them. If you know anything about 3rd graders, a huge vineyard full of sweet, succulent grapes can prove too much of a temptation and unfortunately,

Verses that Actually are not in the Bible

There are quite a few sayings that Christians like to quote as if they are from the Bible when in actuality they do not. Some even blatantly contradict the Bible. While our nation’s biblical illiteracy shows up in our inability to recognize phrases that come from the Bible, many struggle with phrases that “sound biblical” but come from somewhere else.   For instance:   ” God will not give you more than you can handle.” Not in the Bible anywhere.  If you believe this saying, you need to talk to the early Christians.  They were hated.  They were beaten, imprisoned, tortured, and executed for their faith. What about the reformers?  Thousands of them were exiled, tortured, imprisoned, and executed, why?  For defying the wicked, Roman Catholic Church and for trying to give people the word of God in their own language. For we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, of the affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life

A Disturbing Disregard for the Truth of Gods Word

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” – Hosea 4:6 According to disturbing new tudies, over 50% of Americans rarely or never read the Holy Bible. Only 1 in 10 hold a Biblical worldview. Only 25% of American Christians feel they have a personal responsibility to share the Gospel with others, and only 40% believe that the Holy Bible is truly the “Word of God”. If this were just a study of all Americans, it would be sad but not too surprising. The responses of so-called professing Christians in these studies, on the other hand, are extremely alarming. How can anyone call themself a Christian and say they have NO obligation to preach the Gospel to others? Are we reading the same Holy Bible? Are we worshipping the same Jesus Christ? The Jesus Who said to “go into all the world and PROCLAIM the Gospel to the whole creation”? What’s worse than fellow believers not sharing the Gospel message, is that the study also revealed that
